Rem: Market Related incl Med Aid, Provident Fund + incentives   Your role will be to support the Operational Teams by generating actionable insights by using a combination of multiple data-sources, analytical techniques and business knowledge. You will collaborate directly with business users to support the implementation of proposed insights and assist in tracking the business impact of your analytical initiatives.   Responsibilities ·      Explore structured and unstructured data effectively and efficiently in order to source answers to business questions ·      Translate business requirements and/or questions into technical data queries, using appropriate analytical techniques ·      Engage with both technical and business users to understand business context ·      Draw data from various systems, analyse information received and compile reports ·      Interpret existing reports, business processes and technical specifications in order to understand current processes and provide recommendations for improvements ·      Automate and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports that support analytical initiatives ·      Assist analytical team members by sharing best practice, technical and analytical techniques       Minimum Requirements: ·      B.Sc / B.Comm / Humanities with Mathematics / Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering ·      Minimum of 4 + years working experience in an analytical or data related field ·       Financial Services and/or Retail experience highly advantageous ·      Knowledge of statistical and mathematical models and methodologies ·      Experience manipulating and analysing data using SAS, SQL, SAS Macros or other data analysis tools ·      Ability to perform statistical Analysis on large datasets – advantageous ·      Database architecture, i.e. understanding of database and data warehouse concepts and functions – advantageous
